Free Fire Zone

Title: Free Fire Zone
Author: Chris Lynch
AR Points: 6
BL: 5.3
Genre: Realistic Fiction
Star Rating: 3 & 1/2

Free Fire Zone is about a boy named Rudi and his friend, but it focuses mainly on Rudi. Rudi and his friends made a pact that if one of them joined the army, then they would all join. Rudi was always picked on in grade school by everyone. He uses this new chance in the army to make a name for himself by trying to earn respect from all of the other ground men that were recruited with him. He went from zero to hero and got the respect he deserved. Now that he is respected he has become brave, and he doesn't let anyone walk over him anymore. His friends begin to worry because he doesn't usually act like he is acting. Free Fire Zone is an awesome book in an amazing series. I would tell my friends to read this book.

This book is about a boy called Lyle Wiliams, also known as Mudshark. He has an amazing memory. He uses this to find things for other people. One day Principal Wagner calls him into his office. 65 erasers are missing and he wants Mudshark to find them. I didn't find much meaning in this book. It seemed to just explain his everyday life. I would not recomend reading this book.
