Summary: Conner knows he is going to be unwound. He saw the papers his parents signed, and he hated them for that. To be unwound means that 100% of the doners body is to be used, so they arn't technically dead. You wouldn't be dead, but you wouldn't be alive.Your parents can decide to have their child unwound if they are between the ages of 13-18. Before you turn 13, you are to be untouched. Conner is 16. The Juvey-cops are coming tomorrow to take him to harvest camp (where you get unwound), so he decides quickly to take action, and he runs away in the night. He does everything he can to keep from getting caught. Will he be able to live to the age 18?
