Evie leaves IPCA behind, but thinks she is not helping paranormals enough, so she goes back to them, not as a paranormal, but as an employee. She is sent on many missions, and has many harmful experiences. She has had to stop herself from taking their souls many times. She knows it's wrong, but she's an Empty One, so it is very hard to resist. She feels bad for lying to Lend, and is betrayed by some one, and she didn't see it coming. Read this book and you won't be able to put it down!!!
