I would read this book if you like history and/or realistic fiction.
This book is very interesting in the beginning to me. But to all who read it, I think you will find that it is a book that captures your attention on a little eleven year old girl as she takes control of the twisted life she lives in.
ReplyDeleteThe Breadwinner is the best historical fiction book I have ever read. I think that the Breadwinner makes you realize how good we have it in the U.S.. Also, it makes you how harshly women were treated when the Taliban ruled. I agree that this makes you focus on this eleven year old girl that is going through a lot. She has to take control of her life, because there is no one to take control of her life, but the Taliban.
